How to Spot a Lying Bastard (aka a Scammer)

They came at me hard/aggressive/full force, thought they could pull one over/get away with/take advantage of me. But you know what?, I'm not some pushover. I saw right through their bullshit/scheme/crap.
I fought back, and let me tell you, it was a damn good fight/tough battle/real slugfest. They didn't see it coming. They thought they were so smart/clever/slick, but in the end, I came out on top. They learned their lesson.
- My advice to anyone who thinks about trying to screw over/take advantage of me? Don't even bother/try it/waste your time.
